After a brief hiatus to launch and promote Walking Wolf Road, I'm happy to announce that I've begun work on my next novel:
Bearing Raven's Mark
Positive reader response to Walking Wolf Road, as well as Julie and J.D.'s recommendation, have bumped it up the to-do list. Bearing Raven's Mark will explore the world of Walking Wolf Road like never before; a world of totemic spirits, shamanic planes, therianthropes, sanguinarians, and revenant spirits... not to mention college finals.
Bearing Raven's Mark will be the second book of the Wolf Road Chronicles, and picks up the story of Jimmy and the Pack about a year and a half after the conclusion of Walking Wolf Road. The story builds directly off where the characters left off, and while it holds true to the world and style of Walking Wolf Road, I'm sure the story will surprise you as it takes us to dark places which will strain our characters and their bonds to the breaking point -- and just maybe, might prove to be more than they can handle.
Jimmy and Loki can't wait to bring the Pack back together again after Bo's first year at college and Geri's return to Colorado, and the four of them move to Colorado Springs for college. However, the past won't rest, and the repercussions of their actions and choices haunt them. Bearing Raven's Mark will explore forbidden reaches of the Shamanic Lowerworld, and what it means to be marked by Brother Raven. While struggling to balance life on his own, college, his relationship with Loki, his obligations as Pack Alpha, and the dangers of technology; Jimmy will learn the hard way that some places are forbidden for a reason, and some betrayals know no bounds...
That's all I'm willing to share for now, but subscribe to the blog or follow me on social media to keep up to date. Who knows, play your cards right, you could end up as a character in the novel... ^, ,~

P.S. - World of Shadows is not cancelled, just postponed. I still have an epic crap-ton of material ready for WoS, and may release a short story or two if I stall for a while on Bearing Raven's Mark, but being in school full time om-nom-noms almost all of my 'free' time.
